September 10, 2020 Strengthening viral safety evaluation business for biopharmaceuticals in Japan through business partnership with Kyodoken Institute
Kyodoken Institute (location of laboratory: 585 Shimoitabashi-cho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto-shi), which is engaged in contracted domestic animal testing services, and ViSpot Inc., which undertakes various virus safety evaluation tests as its main business, established a business partnership on September 10, 2020.
This partnership has enabled ViSpot to accept and assure the quality of animal tests, including the following essential tests for the development and manufacture of biopharmaceuticals, in combination with other virus safety evaluation tests.
・In vivo viral safety tests using mature mice, suckling mice, and embryonated eggs (GMP-compliant)
・Hamster/mouse/rat antibody production tests (HAP/MAP/RAP) (GMP-compliant)
ViSpot will continue to enhance its viral safety evaluation testing services, thereby contributing to the development of biopharmaceuticals in Japan.
